Job Summary
The Warehouse Sales Supervisor is responsible for driving sales growth by promoting warehousing, storage, inventory management, and value-added logistics services. The role focuses on developing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, preparing commercial proposals, and coordinating with operations teams to ensure service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for warehouse and logistics services.
- Generate leads through market research, networking, customer referrals, and industry contacts.
- Conduct client meetings and presentations to promote warehousing solutions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing within approved guidelines.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for warehouse service inquiries.
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable warehousing solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Handle customer escalations and coordinate resolutions with operations teams.
Operational Coordination
- Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth implementation of customer requirements.
- Coordinate onboarding of new customers and service launches.
- Monitor service performance and customer KPIs.
- Ensure alignment between customer expectations and operational capabilities.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Identify opportunities for expanding warehouse services and value-added offerings.
- Provide market feedback to management to support pricing and business strategy.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Maintain accurate sales records and customer data within CRM systems.
- Prepare sales pipeline and activity reports.
- Track revenue generation, customer acquisition, and account growth.
- Provide sales forecasts and business updates to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, freight forwarding, or supply chain sales.
- Experience in warehouse solutions, contract logistics, or third-party logistics (3PL) sales is preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
