ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Purpose: Managing and overseeing end-to-end warehouse operations to ensure the safe, efficient, accurate, and cost-effective storage and movement of products as well as ensures operational excellence through effective workforce management, inventory accuracy, WMS utilization, compliance with company policies and customer requirements, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes.Managing and overseeing end-to-end warehouse operations to ensure the safe, efficient, accurate, and cost-effective storage and movement of products as well as ensures operational excellence through effective workforce management, inventory accuracy, WMS utilization, compliance with company policies and customer requirements, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, staging, and dispatching.
- Ensure warehouse activities are executed efficiently and in line with approved SOPs and customer requirements.
- Optimize warehouse capacity, space utilization, storage locations, and material flow.
- Laying out work plans and allocating storage places for clients according to the store occupancy rates.
- Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy through effective cycle counting and stock control processes.
- Monitor inventory discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper handling of damaged, blocked, expired, or obsolete inventory.
- Ensure effective utilization of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) across all warehouse processes.
- Maintain appropriate controls for stock movements and warehouse transactions.
- Allocate warehouse personnel to clients in line with their experience and business needs.
- Monitor daily operational performance and take corrective actions when required.
- Provide internal support between teams assigned to different clients to overcome obstacles.
- Ensure business continuity and effective operational coverage across shifts.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across warehouse activities.
- Follow up the monthly closing procedures and ensure that the data is ready to issue invoices to customers through the relevant department.
- Lead, manage, and develop the warehouse team to achieve operational objectives.
- Plan workforce requirements based on operational volume and business needs.
- Ensuring that a quality management system is implemented and maintained
- Ensuring that relevant customer complaints are dealt with effectively
- Ensure that warehouse operations are compliant with GDP/ GMP standards and instructions
- Comply with OH&S policy, standards, OH&S objectives and training.
- Report any incidents (Accidents or near misses).
- participate in relevant risk assessments
- Comply with environmental management’s standards, objectives and training.
- Report immediately on any environmental incidents.Follow up the monthly closing procedures and ensure that the data is ready to issue invoices to customers through the relevant department.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in similar field
- Experience in 3PL / contract logistics is highly preferred.
