ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
G4S, an Allied Universal company, is one of the world's largest security and workforce solutions businesses, operating in more than 90 countries. G4S Lebanon employs around 500 people across cash solutions, CRT and manned services, working for banks, institutions and major commercial
customers across the country.
We are looking for a Finance Manager to own the numbers for the Lebanese business. You will lead a team of five across general accounting and procurement, report to the Country Manager with a functional line into regional finance, and act as the commercial counterweight to an operation
that is asset-heavy, contract-billed and cash-intensive.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own the Lebanon P&L, balance sheet and cash flow — monthly close delivered to Group deadlines, without extensions.
- Lead and develop a team of five across general accounting and procurement
- Run dual-currency USD/LBP accounting and IFRS reporting under IAS 29 hyperinflationary treatment
- Business-partner CRT and operations leadership on contract profitability, asset and fleet costs, and pricing decisions
- Own the control environment in a cash- and asset-intensive business — reconciliation, custody, consumables, capex and procurement approvals
- Manage statutory compliance end to end: VAT, corporate income tax, payroll tax, NSSF and the annual external audit
- Produce budgets, forecasts and variance analysis the Country Manager can actually make decisions from
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Seven or more years in finance, including at least three leading a team of three or more
- LACPA membership, or an international qualification (ACCA / CPA / CMA), or a Big 4 Beirut audit background moved into industry
- First-hand dual-currency USD/LBP reporting and IAS 29 experience since 2020 — this is a hard requirement, not a preference
- Experience reporting into a group, regional or donor-compliance structure against fixed deadlines
- Control and process experience in an operationally complex business — services, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or humanitarian programme finance
- Fluent English at group reporting standard.
- Strong ERP skills and advanced Excel — able to rebuild a reporting pack from first principles, not just maintain one
- Based in Lebanon, able to commute to Awkar daily, and looking for a role you will hold for the next few years
