Why this role matters: This entry-level position prepares outgoing products and orders for shipment while supporting documentation and carrier handoffs.
The work is active and team-oriented. This is an on-site position. The work is performed in a store, stockroom, warehouse, distribution center, production facility, or similar physical work environment, with regular face-to-face interaction with customers, coworkers, supervisors, drivers, or other onsite teams as applicable.
- Verify outbound orders
- Pack, label, and stage shipments
- Prepare routine shipping records or scans
- Coordinate onsite with drivers, carriers, and warehouse teammates
Success looks like: A strong entry-level candidate is dependable, comfortable working on their feet, able to communicate clearly with others, attentive to accuracy and safety, and willing to learn established procedures. Prior experience is helpful but is not required for many roles when employer training is provided.
