About the role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, engaging, and high-quality videos tailored for [Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat.etc ]. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, audio design, and current social media trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and Assemble: Transform raw video footage into polished, cohesive narratives that align with our brand's style and voice.
- Format Optimization: Edit and format videos for various platform formats ( Reels, Shorts, Tik Toks ..etc).
- Motion Graphics & Visuals: Add engaging text animations, lower thirds, transitions, and basic motion graphics to elevate the final product.
- Audio Post-Production: Mix dialogue, sound effects, and background music to ensure crisp, professional audio quality.
- Color Correction & Grading: Balance and grade footage to ensure visual consistency and a premium look.
- Storytelling: A good eye for pacing, rhythm, narrative flow and visual storytelling.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain scene continuity and catch errors.
- Asset Management: Organize and manage raw footage, project files, and final exports efficiently.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the (marketing/content/digital) team to understand project requirements, iterate on feedback, and meet project deadlines.
- Deliver content within agreed deadlines with high attention to details.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as video editor (a strong portfolio or demo reel is required)
- Software Proficiency: Highly skilled in [e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects , Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve].
- Platform Knowledge: Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices, trends, and aspect ratios (especially for social media algorithms).
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to audio syncing, color continuity, and typography.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Experience in medical, aesthetic, or healthcare-related content is an advantage.
- Experience as videographer is a plus
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills and a professional working attitude
