To maintain a competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for a new "VAS Product Manager"
Job purpose:
The VAS Product Manager shapes and executes the vision, strategy and roadmap for Geidea's Value-Added Services (VAS) portfolio, including BNPL, APN, the core VAS back office, Payouts and Loyalty programs. The role calls for a dynamic leader who drives product innovation and owns the full product lifecycle, from ideation to delivery, in line with the UAE market.
Responsibilities:
- Define the Product Vision, Strategy and product market fit and create a product roadmap for VAS in UAE market.
- Specify and oversee the research needed to determine the needs and desires of customers
- Participate in and lead customer focus groups for collecting insights
- Use market research and insights to create ideas for products in alignment with customers’ needs
- Create and supervise Go to market strategy.
- Assist in overseeing the design and manufacture and planning how to market and promote the product to the public
- Define product marketing communication objectives
- Monitor the competitor companies, compare the company’s products to the market, and enhance as needed
- Provide management with analyses and reports on different product related updates and workflows
- Lead, oversee and coordinate the work of product owners
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Information Systems, Data Analysis or a related field.
- 10+ years in the software sector, including 5+ years in fintech, banking or digital payments.
- Solid experience in payments and VAS, with a good understanding of local and international payments.
- Experience in business solution design, data analysis and integration.
- Hands-on experience with product analytics.
- Agile delivery experience using Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent communicator who builds strong relationships at all levels of management, inside and outside Geidea, and manages remote stakeholders effectively.
- Proven record of delivering complex initiatives with outstanding results.
- Flexible to work UAE working hours and to travel to the UAE when needed.
- Excellent command of English
- Ability to manage remote teams and stakeholders effectively.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of fintech products in the UAE market.
- Experience in financial services and card issuance.
- Product Owner or Scrum Master certificate.
