We’re Hiring: Treasury AccountantAl Mutahida Company | IraqAl Mutahida is seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will manage daily treasury transactions, monitor cash flow, and maintain accurate bank and cash records.
Key Responsibilities
- * Monitor daily bank balances and cash positions to support operational funding requirements.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and identify upcoming funding needs.
- Prepare bank transfers and payment instructions according to approved schedules and authorization limits.
- Record treasury transactions and complete timely bank reconciliations.
- Monitor incoming receipts and coordinate with Accounts Receivable on unidentified collections.
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable to plan supplier payments.
- Track loans, bank facilities, interest, bank charges, and repayment schedules.
- Maintain records of letters of credit and bank guarantees, including expiry dates and related obligations.
- Monitor foreign currency balances and prepare exchange transactions for approval.
- Support month-end closing, treasury reporting, and internal and external audits.
- Follow controls for banking access, payment approvals, and verification of beneficiary details.
Qualifications And Requirements
- * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant treasury or accounting experience; manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of cash flow management, banking transactions, and bank reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- High standards of integrity and confidentiality.
- Good communication skills in Arabic and English.
