**WE’RE HIRING | TRAVEL CONSULTANT – QATAR
We are looking for an experienced, professional and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our growing ATW team.
The candidate should have solid experience in the Qatar travel market, strong hands-on knowledge of Amadeus GDS, and the ability to confidently handle both corporate and leisure travel requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Handle airline reservations and ticketing through Amadeus GDS
• Manage ticket issuance, reissuance, cancellations and refunds
• Prepare accurate and professional travel quotations
• Handle both corporate and walk-in clients professionally
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and recommend suitable travel solutions
• Plan and prepare complete travel itineraries according to clients’ needs and budgets
• Handle holiday packages and non-air travel products, including hotels, transfers, tours and other travel services
• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, suppliers and DMCs locally and internationally
• Follow up on reservations, confirmations and other travel arrangements
• Maintain excellent customer service and build long-term client relationships
• Support the team in achieving service and sales objectives
REQUIREMENTS
‚úì 2+ years of relevant experience in the Qatar travel market
‚úì Excellent hands-on knowledge of Amadeus GDS and airline ticketing
‚úì Strong experience in ticket issuance and reissuance
‚úì Good knowledge of airline fares, reservations and ticketing procedures
‚úì Good knowledge of holiday packages and non-air products, including hotels, transfers, tours and other travel services
‚úì Experience handling corporate and leisure travel
‚úì Ability to prepare professional quotations and travel itineraries
‚úì Strong communication, customer service and sales skills
‚úì Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
‚úì Excellent command of English
‚úì Arabic language is preferable and will be considered an advantage
‚úì Organized, detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure
‚úì Flexible and willing to work at different locations across Qatar**
