Own the strategy, lifecycle, pricing and P&L for Transportation and Customs Clearance products, converting customer, market and regulatory needs into compliant, scalable and profitable services. Define the proposition, capacity requirements and digital roadmap; partner with Sales for growth, Operations and customs specialists for execution, and Finance for financial control.
Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, value proposition, roadmap and target customer segments.
- Use customer insight, competitor intelligence and performance data to prioritize opportunities.
- Own business cases, product approvals, launches, adoption, continuous improvement and retirement.
- Define service and capacity requirements; Fleet and Operations own assets and daily execution.
- Own product budgets, forecasts, P&L performance and corrective actions.
- Set rate architecture, cost-to-serve, margin floors and pricing governance with Finance.
- Support Sales with solution design, key bids, product expertise and bundled propositions.
- Commercial owns the customer relationship and contracts; Product owns the offer and economics.
- Define brokerage model, service scope, documentation standards and customer requirements.
- Partner with customs specialists to govern licensing, declaration quality, audits and regulatory change.
- Ensure product design addresses classification, valuation, origin, duties/taxes and Incoterms requirements.
- Monitor broker and clearance performance, holds, penalties, disputes and corrective actions.
- Prioritize TMS, customs-platform, EDI/API and customer-visibility capabilities.
- Set product SLAs and KPIs; lead monthly performance, risk and profitability reviews.
- Govern product changes, standardization, launch readiness and platform adoption.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business or a related field
- More than 5 years of experience
- Relevant transportation product-management and customs-clearance experience
- FIATA, customs-broker, product or supply-chain qualification preferred
- Strong P&L, pricing, cost-to-serve and commercial acumen
- Working knowledge of customs compliance, duties, classification, valuation and origin
- Customer discovery, segmentation and product-lifecycle capability
- Advanced Excel; TMS, customs platforms and Power BI capability
- EDI/API and digital-product understanding
- Strategic prioritization, analytical judgment and execution discipline
- Stakeholder leadership, communication and change management
