Role Description The Training Manager is a full-time, on-site role located at the Octopus Outsourcing headquarters in Alexandria. This role is responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining training programs for new hires and existing team members across various business process outsourcing functions. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing training needs, creating learning materials and curricula, facilitating classroom and on-the-job training sessions, and coordinating with operations leaders to ensure training aligns with performance goals. The Training Manager will monitor training effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative metrics, provide coaching and feedback, and update training content based on process changes or client requirements. This role also involves collaborating with HR and management on onboarding, professional development initiatives, and continuous improvement of learning practices.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in training design and delivery, including curriculum development and facilitation of group and individual learning sessions.
- Strong skills in performance analysis, training needs assessment, and evaluating training effectiveness using data and feedback.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and simplify complex information.
- Proven organizational and time management abilities, including coordinating multiple training programs and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in business process outsourcing, customer service operations, or contact center environments is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with using digital tools and learning technologies (e.g., LMS platforms, virtual training tools, and standard office software).
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt training content to evolving business and client needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in training and development.
- Strong command of English; additional language capabilities are an advantage for a multinational client environment.
