About the Opportunity
A leading FMCG distribution organization is seeking an experienced Trade Marketing Director to serve as the primary commercial interface with international and regional principals. This role is responsible for building strong supplier partnerships, developing joint business plans, and ensuring strategic priorities are translated into world-class execution across Sales, Merchandising, and Activation functions across Saudi Arabia.
What You'll Do
- Own and strengthen relationships with international and regional principals, acting as the key commercial contact and business partner.
- Develop Annual Budget Plans covering sales ambitions, portfolio strategy, channel priorities, investments, and KPIs.
- Lead structured business reviews with principals, monitor performance, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions.
- Translate category and brand strategies into channel and customer execution plans covering distribution, assortment, promotions, visibility, merchandising, and Perfect Store initiatives.
- Manage trade marketing investments and budgets, ensuring effective ROI and alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Category teams to ensure flawless execution of agreed plans.
- Drive category growth through portfolio optimization, product launches, assortment enhancement, and distribution expansion.
- Track market performance, share, distribution, promotion effectiveness, and sales results to identify growth opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years of FMCG experience, including at least 5 years in Trade Marketing, Commercial, or related leadership roles.
- Proven experience managing multiple international and regional principals within large FMCG distributors or multi-principal organizations.
- Strong commercial and P&L acumen, including pricing, margins, rebates, claims, trade investments, and ROI management.
- Successful track record in portfolio management, product launches, assortment optimization, and distribution growth.
- Experience managing multiple brands, categories, and stakeholder groups simultaneously.
- Deep knowledge of the Saudi FMCG market across Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Wholesale, and E-Commerce channels.
- MBA or Post-Graduate qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related commercial discipline.
