Role Description The Tourism Specialist is a full-time on-site role based in the Casablanca Metropolitan Area. This role involves designing and promoting travel packages, coordinating bookings, and managing end-to-end travel arrangements for individual and group clients. The Tourism Specialist will consult with travelers to understand their preferences, provide destination advice, and ensure a high-quality customer experience throughout the journey. Daily tasks include responding to inquiries, preparing quotations, processing reservations, collaborating with local and international partners, and handling changes or issues efficiently. The role also includes participating in sales and marketing activities, maintaining accurate records in reservation systems, and contributing ideas to improve services and travel products.
Qualifications
- * Strong Communication skills for interacting with clients, partners, and team members, both verbally and in writing.
- Solid knowledge of Travel & Tourism, including destinations, itineraries, travel regulations, and industry trends.
- Proven Customer Service abilities to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and deliver a positive traveler experience.
- Experience in Sales and Marketing to promote travel packages, upsell services, and support business growth.
- Proficiency with reservation and booking systems, and basic office software tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when organizing travel logistics.
- Fluency in English and French; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a travel agency, tour operator, or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Relevant education in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is beneficial.
