We are seeking a skilled Tooling Maintenance Technician responsible for the repair, maintenance, and improvement of tooling equipment (jigs, fixtures, moulds, and CNC tools). The role ensures efficient production processes and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair tooling, fixtures, and CNC equipment
- Support new tooling for product introductions
- Diagnose tooling issues and implement repair solutions
- Operate machines (lathe, milling, CNC)
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
- Monitor tooling performance and report issues
- Train junior technicians and share knowledge
Requirements:
- Strong experience in toolmaking (composite experience preferred)
- Hands-on problem-solving skills
- Experience in production environments and tight deadlines
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Experience with machining tools and equipment
