Role Description The Tiler role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Tiler will be responsible for preparing surfaces, laying out patterns, cutting and installing tiles, mosaics, ceramic, marble, and other flooring materials to meet design specifications for luxury mansion projects. Day-to-day tasks include mixing and applying adhesives, grouts, and sealants, ensuring accurate alignment and level surfaces, and finishing edges and joints to achieve a high-quality appearance. The Tiler will collaborate with designers, site supervisors, and other trades to interpret plans, follow safety standards, and complete work within project timelines.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong skills in tiling and flooring installation, including surface preparation and leveling.
* Candidates should possess experience working with ceramic tiles and marble finishes in high-end residential or commercial projects.
* Candidates should possess skills in creating and installing mosaics, including pattern layout and detailed cutting.
* Candidates should possess knowledge of appropriate adhesives, grouts, sealants, and tools used for tile and stone work.
* Relevant technical certification or vocational training in tiling or construction trades is beneficial.
* Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and measurements with strong attention to detail.
* Demonstrated commitment to safety practices and quality control on construction sites.
* Previous experience in luxury or high-spec interior projects in the UAE or similar markets is an advantage.
