Role Description The Close Protection Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Beirut, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of designated clients in various environments. Day-to-day duties include conducting threat and risk assessments, planning secure routes and movements, and maintaining constant situational awareness during client activities. The role involves providing discreet personal protection, coordinating with drivers and support teams, and implementing security protocols at residences, workplaces, and public venues. The Close Protection Officer will also prepare incident reports, maintain clear communication with supervisors and peers, and participate in briefings and debriefings for each assignment. Regular training, drills, and compliance with Prime Security’s operational procedures, legal requirements, and professional standards are integral to the position.
Qualifications
- * Strong background in Physical Security and Security operations, with experience in close protection or executive protection assignments.
- Relevant Law Enforcement or Police experience, or equivalent military/security service, with a clear understanding of local regulations and protocol.
- Demonstrated Training experience or formal participation in security, defensive driving, or tactical awareness courses.
- Excellent situational awareness, risk assessment, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- High level of physical fitness, resilience, and ability to work long or irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act discreetly and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in relevant languages (Arabic required; English and/or French preferred) and ability to write clear incident and activity reports.
- Valid driver’s license; advanced driving skills and prior convoy or escort experience are advantageous.
- Clean criminal record and willingness to undergo background checks, medical evaluations, and periodic re-certification.
