Position Summary The Sales Manager is responsible for all sales activities in the assigned territory (Syria, Iraq and Lebanon), for managing and developing the local distribution channel, and for ensuring high-quality, consistent delivery of NMS products and services through our distributors, in close cooperation with Headquarters. The role combines direct selling into private and public-sector accounts with distributor management, tender participation and sales budgeting.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Channel Management
- Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
- Manage and develop the local distribution channel: set targets, monitor performance and drive distributor capability.
- Develop all product lines business within the region of responsibility.
- Identify sales prospects and develop new accounts as assigned.
- Identify and follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, tenders and sales contracts.
- Negotiate and close sales.
- Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
Customer & Account Management
- Establish and maintain relationships with current and potential clients.
- Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
- Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
- Identify and resolve client concerns.
- Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.
- Follow up on collection of payments.
Planning, Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up and adherence to goals.
- Prepare the annual sales budget.
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
- Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows and telemarketing events.
- Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or above (medicine, engineering, business or a related field).
- 5–10 years of sales experience, with a proven track record in radiology / medical imaging.
- Fluent Arabic and good working proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to travel extensively within Syria, Iraq and Lebanon.
- Self-motivated, resilient and willing to work hard in a demanding field role.
- Excellent presentation skills, with solid technical and market knowledge.
- Must hold valid work authorization and residency in Syria, Iraq or Lebanon.
Preferred
- Background in PET/CT and/or radiotherapy is a strong advantage.
- Experience managing distributors and channel partners.
- Experience with public-sector tenders and government procurement.
- French language skills are an advantage.
- Candidates with a product management background in medical imaging are also encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in the Levant or the wider Middle East market.

Location & Travel Field-based. The position is open to candidates based in Syria, Iraq or Lebanon, and requires frequent travel across the three markets plus occasional regional and Headquarters meetings.
