Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTIONLow Current Systems
- * Install, configure, test, and maintain CCTV, Access Control, and other low-current systems.
- Monitor system performance and ensure continuous operation with minimal downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance and conduct regular inspections on all low-current equipment.
- Handle Service Requests, Incidents, and Problems according to ITIL best practices
HHT & VMT Preparation
- Prepare, configure, and troubleshoot Handheld Terminals (HHT) and Vehicle-Mounted Terminals (VMT) used across port and terminal equipment.
- Ensure all devices are updated, secure, and fully operational before deployment.
IT Outsourcing Requests
- Prepare and update all monthly IT outsourcing requests.
- Track outsourced tasks and ensure accurate delivery, documentation, and closure.
Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Configure and manage mobile devices using approved MDM platforms.
- Apply security policies, deploy applications, and monitor device compliance.
Procurement & Inventory
- Create purchase requests for IT materials, equipment, and consumables.
- Inspect and verify received items to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Review stock availability in the IT store and maintain up-to-date inventory records.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Warehouse teams for replenishment and stock management. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure that all installations and activities comply with applicable safety standards and required regulations.
- Maintain full adherence to corporate IT and security policies.
Service Level Management
- * Monitor, track, and maintain service level agreements (SLAs).
- Measure performance against SLAs and identify areas for improvement.
- Work with IT teams to ensure service delivery meets agreed targets.
- Prepare SLA compliance reports with recommendations for service enhancements.
- Track key metrics such as resolution times, customer satisfaction, and SLA adherence.
RequirementsQualification and Certificates:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Communications, Electrical Engineering,
- Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Any additional certifications in Networking, Low-Current Systems, or Information Technology are considered a plus.
Experience And Knowledge
- * 6:8 years of experience in the same job field.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, and other low-current systems.
- Strong understanding of computer network infrastructure.
- Experience working with TOS and port operation applications.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in managing devices such as VMTs, tablets, and HHTs – Day-to-day device management is crucial.
- Familiarity with MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions.
- Good understanding of ITIL concepts and processes .
- Ability to use Service Desk systems effectively .
- Good knowledge of general IT infrastructure (network, hardware, and basic security principles)
