Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in 10th of Ramadan for a Technical Office Engineer. The primary responsibilities include preparing accurate shop drawings, BOQs, and performing quantity surveying tasks. The engineer will collaborate with project teams, ensure technical and engineering standards are met, and play an integral role in supporting project planning and execution.
Qualifications
2-3 years of hands-on experience in Technical Office works for steel structures, formwork, and scaffolding systems
Strong expertise in preparing and reviewing shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings
Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for 2D drafting, 3D modeling, connection details, and assembly drawings (Must)
Solid experience in quantity take-off, BOQs, material take-offs, and weight calculations for steel and formwork systems
Preparation of method statements, erection procedures, lifting plans, and dismantling sequences
Extensive knowledge of temporary works design, including formwork systems, shoring, falsework, and access scaffolding
Coordination with structural designers, site engineers, consultants, and fabrication teams to resolve technical and constructability issues
Experience in technical submittals, material approvals, and compliance with project specifications
Familiar with international codes and standards (AISC, ACI, BS, EN, OSHA – as applicable).
ERP Experience Preferred.
Strong understanding of fabrication processes, welding details, bolted connections, and site installation sequences
Experience in value engineering and cost optimization for steel and temporary works systems
Good command of MS Excel for calculations and reports, and MS Project / Primavera for planning support
High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to meet tight project deadlines
Effective communicator with the ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams
Transportation available.
Working hours from 8 am to 4 pm , Day off : Friday .
