Role Description The Arabic Teacher will deliver engaging, well-structured Arabic language lessons to students in an on-site setting in Beirut. This part-time role involves preparing lesson plans, selecting appropriate teaching materials, and using varied instructional strategies to support different learning levels. The teacher will assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of attendance and performance. Daily responsibilities also include fostering a respectful classroom environment, communicating regularly with learners and, when relevant, guardians, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Language Teaching and Teaching, with proven ability to instruct learners at various proficiency levels.
- Ability to design and implement effective Lesson Planning tailored to student needs and curriculum goals.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear explanation of concepts and supportive interaction with students.
- Knowledge of Islamic Studies that supports culturally aware and contextually appropriate language instruction.
- Relevant teaching certification or training in Arabic language education is preferred.
- Previous experience teaching Arabic in a classroom or tutoring setting is highly beneficial.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics, apply basic educational technology, and maintain professional conduct on-site.
- Proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic; familiarity with regional dialects is an advantage.
