We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager with a strong background in the UAE construction industry to join our team in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage all technical aspects of construction projects from design through execution and handover
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, technical submittals and project documentation
• Coordinate between consultants, contractors, subcontractors, architects and internal project teams
• Manage shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs and technical approvals
• Identify and resolve design discrepancies and site-related technical issues
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements and quality standards
• Oversee design coordination across Civil, Structural, Architectural and MEP disciplines
• Provide technical support to Project Managers, Site Engineers and construction teams
• Monitor technical deliverables and ensure approvals are obtained in line with project schedules
• Support value engineering and propose technically feasible, cost-effective solutions
• Participate in technical meetings with consultants, clients and other stakeholders
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related Engineering discipline
• Proven experience in a Technical Manager / Senior Technical role within the UAE construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, technical drawings, specifications and design coordination
• Solid understanding of Civil, Structural, Architectural and MEP coordination
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards, authority requirements and approval processes
• Strong problem-solving, leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and technical reporting abilities
⚠️ UAE construction experience is mandatory.
