Role Description The Tearista for Tea Shop role at Al-Tuhoo General Trading & Contracting Co. is a full-time, on-site position based in Shuwaikh. The Tearista will prepare and serve a variety of tea beverages to customers, following established recipes and maintaining high standards of taste, quality, and presentation. This role includes greeting customers, taking orders, providing product recommendations, and handling payments using point-of-sale systems. The Tearista will manage daily shop operations such as stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in preparation and seating areas, and ensuring proper storage of tea and related products. The role also involves supporting promotional activities, learning about tea origins and brand offerings, and contributing to a welcoming, efficient, and safe customer environment.
Qualifications
* Customer service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and a friendly, professional demeanor.
* Tea and beverage preparation skills, with attention to recipe accuracy, taste consistency, and presentation standards.
* Basic cash handling and point-of-sale operation skills, including processing transactions and managing receipts.
* Organizational skills to manage inventory, restock supplies, and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
* Ability to stand for extended periods, follow food safety and hygiene guidelines, and work flexible shifts as needed.
* Prior experience in a café, tea shop, or food and beverage environment is an advantage.
* Basic English communication skills; Arabic language skills are beneficial.
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
