Arab House of Engineering (Lasheen&Partners) is looking for a highly experienced Structural Design Department Director – Bridges & Structures to join our team in New Cairo – Fifth Settlement, Egypt.
This is a managerial leadership opportunity for an accomplished structural engineer who can lead a well-established design department and oversee the delivery of major bridges, transportation and infrastructure projects.
We are looking for a candidate with:
• 20+ years of professional experience in structural engineering
• Extensive expertise in bridge design, structural analysis and design management
• Proven experience in leading and managing large structural design teams
• Strong experience in construction support and technical problem-solving
• Excellent knowledge of international and local bridge design codes and standards
• Previous experience in Egypt and/or GCC countries is highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering + Master’s degree in Structural Engineering
• Ph.D. in Structural Engineering is preferred
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide overall technical, strategic and managerial leadership for the Structural Design Department, including design planning, technical review, multidisciplinary coordination, QA/QC, resource management, mentoring, construction support, and delivery of major structural design packages.
