The Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily stewarding operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and organization across all kitchen and food & beverage back-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the stewarding team.
Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware are properly cleaned and stored.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation in accordance with hotel and HACCP requirements.
Monitor the proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
Ensure waste is handled and disposed of according to hotel procedures.
Conduct regular inspections of kitchens, dishwashing areas, and storage areas.
Prepare duty rosters and allocate tasks according to operational requirements.
Train, guide, and motivate stewarding team members.
Coordinate closely with Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to support smooth operations.
Monitor inventory and report shortages, breakages, or equipment issues.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.

Qualifications & Experience

* Previous experience in Stewarding, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.
Good knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, HACCP, and safe chemical handling.
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and flexible shifts.
