Infinity Steel is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Detailer Engineer to join our Technical Office team.
The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in structural steel detailing and be capable of independently preparing fabrication-ready drawings, developing accurate 3D steel models, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to support high-quality steel fabrication projects for the U.S. market.
üîπ Key Responsibilities
‚úî Prepare accurate shop, erection, and assembly drawings using Tekla Structures, SDS/2, and AutoCAD
‚úî Develop and maintain detailed 3D models for structural and miscellaneous steel projects
‚úî Generate MTOs, bolt lists, cut lists, and CNC/NC files with high accuracy
‚úî Review IFC and contract drawings, identify discrepancies, and prepare RFIs when required
‚úî Coordinate with Project Managers, Design Engineers, Estimators, Fabrication, and Production teams
‚úî Ensure detailing complies with AISC, AWS, OSHA, and project specifications
‚úî Support fabrication and erection teams by resolving detailing-related technical issues
‚úî Maintain project schedules by delivering accurate drawings within deadlines
‚úî Contribute to continuous improvement by reducing detailing errors and improving fabrication efficiency
üéì Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 2–3 years of experience in structural steel detailing
• Experience working on U.S. structural steel projects is preferred
• Good understanding of steel fabrication, erection, and connection detailing
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
