Bond Consulting Engineers is looking for a skilled and motivated Steel Design Engineer to join our Engineering & Technical Office team.
üìç Location: Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt
üíº Experience: 3‚Äì5 years
üïí Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis and design of steel structures in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
Prepare structural calculations, design reports, and technical documentation.
Develop and review structural drawings and coordinate with the detailing and technical office teams.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues.
Participate in technical discussions and provide engineering solutions when required.
Ensure designs meet project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
3–5 years of relevant experience in structural steel design.
Strong knowledge of steel design principles and structural analysis.
Proficiency in structural design and analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, or similar.
Good knowledge of the Egyptian code.
Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
