Primary Purpose Of The JobResponsible for providing environmental engineering expertise across offshore greenfield and brownfield projects. The role supports all project phases, including detailed engineering, fabrication, construction, installation, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with applicable environmental regulations, project specifications, and industry standards.
The successful candidate will provide technical guidance and environmental assurance throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of offshore facilities within approved budgets and agreed performance objectives.
Required Experience And Skills
- * Minimum 12 years' environmental engineering experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably supporting offshore greenfield and brownfield projects.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, HSE requirements, industry standards, and best practices applicable to offshore projects.
- Experience conducting and reviewing environmental and risk assessment studies, including EIA, ENVID, HAZID, HIRA, and QRA.
- Proven ability to develop and review environmental management plans, procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Familiarity with environmental impacts and risks across the full project lifecycle, including construction, operations, decommissioning, and abandonment.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
Educational Qualifications
- * Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related Engineering discipline from a recognized university. A postgraduate qualification in Environmental Engineering, Project Management, or a related field would be advantageous.
- Professional membership or certification with a recognized engineering, environmental, or HSE professional body is preferred.
