We're hiring a ‘Specifier Sales Engineer’’ to Drive specification and design influence with consultants, design firms, EPCs, and end‑users to ensure the company’s Products , Equipment , and solutions are written into project specifications, increasing win probability and positioning the manufacturer as the preferred technical partner.
What will you do?
- * Specification & Design Influence
- Engage MEP consultants and Main consultants, and project owners to prescribe company’s Products , Equipment , and solutions in project BOQs and specifications.
- Provide technical design reviews, compliance checks, and optimized solutions recommendations.
- Ensure the manufacturer's solutions are positioned during Concept, and detailed design phases.
- Build long-term influence with specifiers using approved value propositions from internal prescription to project closing .
- Technical Support & Engineering Advisory
- Support consultants with detailed technical documentation: datasheets, layouts, drawings, Compliance with codes and standards .
- Validate consultant designs against manufacturer capabilities; recommend changes to increase safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide technical clarification during tendering and bid evaluations.
- Market Engagement & Relationship Building
- Build and maintain strong relationships with MEP consultants, EPC contractors, developers, and government authorities.
- Conduct Lunch & Learn, Technical sessions, and technical webinars to uplift brand awareness and technical trust.
- Position the manufacturer as a trusted technical advisor, not just a vendor.
- Opportunity & Pipeline Generation
- Identify early‑stage opportunities through consultant networks and project databases.
- Collaborate with sales teams to pass qualified, specified leads into the commercial pipeline.
- Track specification status and influence
- Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, Tendering, Sales, and QA/QC teams to ensure:
- Correct solution positioning
- Competitive technical offers
- Fast turnaround of designs and clarifications
- Standards & Compliance
- Ensure all prescribed solutions meet relevant standards and regulations
- Promote advanced solutions such digital-ready panels , Software
What are the key skills we are looking for?
- * Design Software & Digital Tools (AutoCAD – Revit – ETAP – Ecodial)
- Electrical Engineering Knowledge
- Consultant Relationship Management
- Technical Presentation Skills
- Negotiation & Influence
- Strategic Account Management
What qualifications will make you successful?
- * Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineer with 2-3 years of Experience
- Fluent in English
- Preferred to have 1 year experience at least in design firm
