What You'll Be DoingThe People Experience & Culture Specialist leads the localisation and activation of the Group’s culture, employee experience, engagement, and wellbeing agenda in Egypt.
Working closely with the Egypt leadership team, People Partners, and Group People Experience & Culture, the role translates Group priorities and employee insights into relevant country-level strategies and interventions. It provides specialist expertise to leaders, shapes key moments across the employee journey, and leads initiatives that strengthen engagement, inclusion, wellbeing, and the overall workplace experience.
The role also positions Egypt as a test-and-learn market by designing and piloting new approaches, measuring their impact, and sharing insights and effective practices with the wider Group.
What You’ll Need To SucceedCountry People Experience and Culture Strategy
- * Co-create and drive the Egypt People Experience & Culture roadmap with the country leadership team, ensuring alignment with Group priorities and local business and workforce needs.
- Translate employee and business insights into targeted priorities, interventions, and action plans.
- Partner with leaders to strengthen team cultures and embed inclusive, engaging, and healthy ways of working.
- Monitor the progress and impact of the country roadmap, identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Culture Activation and Change
- * Lead the country activation and embedding of the Group’s culture principles and behaviours, adapting initiatives to ensure local relevance while maintaining their intended purpose.
- Design and facilitate culture interventions, including bootcamps, culture labs, hackathons, leadership sessions, and co-creation forums.
- Partner with leaders and People Partners to diagnose and address culture priorities at country, business-unit, and team levels.
- Build accountability and advocacy for culture across leadership teams, employee communities, and local champions.
- Design and deliver people centred change and communication campaigns that build understanding, participation, and sustained behaviour change.
- Mobilise People Experience & Culture communities and employee champions to strengthen bottom-up ownership of the workplace experience.
Employee Listening, Engagement and Wellbeing
- * Lead the Voice of People survey and other employee-listening activities in Egypt, including pulse checks, interviews, focus groups, and workshops.
- Partner with leaders and People Partners to interpret findings, identify priority areas, and translate insights into measurable action plans.
- Lead the Great Place to Work certification process in Egypt, coordinating stakeholders, communications, submissions, and follow-up actions.
- Design and deliver engagement and wellbeing initiatives that respond to employee needs and support a healthy, inclusive, and connected workplace.
- Facilitate employee forums, town halls, listening sessions, and events that promote dialogue, transparency, and connection.
- Support internal and external storytelling that strengthens employee engagement and showcases the workplace experience in Egypt.
Employee Journey And Experience Design
- * Lead employee journey mapping exercises across priority stages of the employee lifecycle to identify experience gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with business units and People Partners to conduct employee experience diagnostics using quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Facilitate design thinking and co-creation workshops to redesign priority experiences from an employee centred perspective.
- Localise and deploy Group employee experience products and solutions, including onboarding, internal mobility, flexible working, and other priority touchpoints.
- Design and pilot new employee experience interventions in Egypt, evaluate their effectiveness, and recommend opportunities for wider implementation.
Insights, Analytics and Impact
- * Consolidate and analyse employee experience, culture, engagement, and wellbeing data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and executive presentations that translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations for leaders and the People & Culture community.
- Establish relevant success measures for initiatives and evaluate their reach, effectiveness, adoption, and employee impact.
- Integrate insights from different listening channels to provide a holistic view of the employee experience in Egypt.
Strategic Advisory and Stakeholder Partnership
- * Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, People Partners, and key stakeholders to understand priorities and elevate culture and employee experience across Egypt.
- Act as a trusted advisor on culture, employee experience, engagement, and wellbeing, offering insight-led recommendations and constructively challenging leaders where needed.
- Partner with leaders to diagnose needs, co-create relevant interventions, and translate priorities into sustainable action.
- Connect country and Group stakeholders to strengthen alignment, share effective practices, and maintain collective ownership of outcomes
