We are seeking a qualified and experienced Specialist General Surgeon to join our healthcare team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical care, diagnosing and treating a wide range of surgical conditions, and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with general surgical conditions.
- Perform general surgical procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines and established medical standards.
- Conduct preoperative assessments and provide postoperative care and follow-up.
- Manage emergency surgical cases and provide timely clinical interventions when required.
- Perform minor and major surgical procedures within the scope of professional competence.
- Collaborate with other specialists, physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
- Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, surgical risks, and recovery plans.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, patient safety standards, and professional ethical guidelines.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent).
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in General Surgery.
- Relevant clinical experience in general surgery.
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
