We're looking for a driven Account Executive to lead the expansion of our Simulation and Test Solutions across the Nordic region. This is a high-performance sales role with clear revenue ambitions. You'll own Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth across a portfolio of strategic accounts and be accountable for results. You'll expand our simulation footprint across a portfolio of key strategic accounts in the Nordics, working closely with customers to unlock the full value of our simulation portfolio and helping them realize the competitive advantage that best-in-class simulation enables. The acquisition of Altair has made Simcenter the most complete simulation portfolio in the industry, covering structural, fluid, electromagnetic, and systems simulation. You'll have the full breadth of that portfolio behind you.

Responsibilities
- * Develop and execute comprehensive account plansfor your key accounts, working closely with internal teams to expand Simcenter adoption and grow customer investment
- Identify and pursue new business opportunitiesacross a defined set of target accounts, bringing fresh approaches to customer acquisition and competitive displacement
- Present value-based messagingaround our Simcenter simulation portfolio, helping customers understand how these solutions address their specific engineering challenges
- Lead technical sales conversationswith key decision-makers, navigating complex buying cycles and building trust through deep product knowledge
- Work closely with Customer Success, Marketing, and Renewals teamsto ensure smooth customer onboarding and create pathways for long-term account growth
- Monitor pipeline health, forecast accurately, and contribute to strategic territory planning that supports regional growth objectives
Qualifications
- * Significant experience in technical sales or engineering consultancy within the simulation software space, with hands-on familiarity with Simcenter or comparable solutions in Simulation.
- Confidence to discuss engineering challenges and value at any level, from department manager to C-suite while equally comfortable collaborating with internal pre-sales and support teams to position and deliver the right solution to deliver value for our valued customers.
- Demonstrated track record of managing and growing enterprise accounts, navigating complex multi-stakeholder buying cycles, and closing multi-year deals.
- Demonstrated success in new business development, with the ability to identify opportunities, win new logos, and successfully compete against established players
- Proven track record in account management, with the ability to grow existing customer relationships and expand their investment over time
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skillsthat enable confident engagement with stakeholders at all levels, helping to navigate complex sales cycles and drive meaningful outcomes
- University degreein Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Willingness to travel across the region as needed
Nice to have
- * Familiarity with the broader PLM ecosystem and how simulation integrates into product development workflows
- Familiarity with EDA products and electronics and semiconductors

Compensation & BenefitsThe primary locations for this opportunity are Sweden, Denmark and Finland. The applicable salary ranges for these locations are:
Min 947.800 - Max 1.800.900 SEK (Sweden)
Min 812.000 - Max 1.623.900 CZK (Denmark)
Min 86.500 - Max 173.000 EUR (Finland)
This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
