Job Purpose:
The Site Manager will lead the delivery of data center site activities from installation through testing, commissioning, Integrated Systems Testing (IST), operational readiness, handover, and warranty support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead site construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Manage site teams, supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, OEMs, and commissioning teams.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary systems including Electrical, Mechanical, ELV, ICT, Security, BMS, EPMS, SCADA, Fire Alarm, and Fire Suppression.
- Lead L4 Integrated Systems Testing (IST), including failover, redundancy, utility loss, generator, UPS, cooling, and emergency scenarios.
- Lead L5 performance and operational readiness testing, including load, endurance, reliability, and emergency response testing.
- Coordinate clients, consultants, commissioning agents, and OEMs during testing and handover.
- Manage punch lists, deficiencies, retesting, and technical issue resolution.
- Ensure completion of commissioning records, test reports, O&M manuals, as-builts, and handover documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, schedule, budget, and contractual requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or technical qualification in Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager / Construction Manager on data center or mission-critical projects.
- Strong experience in MEP installation, commissioning, L4 IST, and L5 performance testing.
- Good understanding of data center electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, OEMs, and client stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of HSE and site safety requirements.
