We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow SecOps Developer with hands-on experience in implementing, enhancing, and customizing ServiceNow Security Operations solutions. The ideal candidate must hold a ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) certification and have recent experience delivering implementations, platform enhancements, and customizations aligned with security operations and vulnerability management requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) solutions.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) to support vulnerability identification, prioritization, remediation, and tracking.
- Deliver recent implementations, enhancements, and customizations across ServiceNow SecOps modules.
- Develop and maintain business rules, client scripts, UI policies, workflows, Flow Designer flows, and integrations.
- Integrate ServiceNow SecOps with vulnerability scanners, security tools, CMDB, and external systems.
- Configure vulnerability assignment rules, remediation workflows, risk scoring, dashboards, and reporting.
- Troubleshoot platform issues, optimize existing configurations, and ensure solution performance.
- Collaborate with security, IT operations, and vulnerability management teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow ServiceNow development best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Hands-on experience as a ServiceNow SecOps Developer.
- Mandatory ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) certification.
- Proven experience in recent ServiceNow SecOps implementations, enhancements, and customizations.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Vulnerability Response and vulnerability remediation processes.
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting, including JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes.
- Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, REST APIs, integrations, and workflow automation.
- Understanding of CMDB, Configuration Items (CIs), vulnerability data ingestion, and security tool integrations.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with technical and business stakeholders to deliver effective security solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating ServiceNow VR with vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable, Qualys, or Rapid7.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Security Incident Response (SIR) and other SecOps modules.
- Experience with vulnerability prioritization, risk-based remediation, and security compliance reporting.
- Relevant ServiceNow implementation or development certifications in addition to the mandatory VR certification.
