Dhaba began by the warmth of Chef Enayatullah Safi's grandmother's tandoor in Afghanistan. His journey carried him through the streets of India, which gave Dhaba its soul, and into the kitchens of Copenhagen, where he learned precision and respect for every ingredient. Now, in Abu Dhabi, all of those chapters come together at one table.
At Dhaba, hospitality means making every guest feel like family. We are looking for warm, confident Servers to join our pre-opening team and be the face of the Dhaba experience.
The Role
Reporting to the Restaurant Supervisor and Restaurant Manager, you will guide guests through their Dhaba journey, delivering attentive, personal service from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.
Key responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests warmly, presenting menus and explaining specials
- Share the stories, ingredients and preparation behind our dishes with confidence
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently and professionally
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly throughout the meal
- Handle feedback and complaints politely and effectively
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar for smooth, timely service
- Set up, clean and maintain the dining area to Dhaba standards
- Follow hygiene, safety and grooming standards at all times
- Support colleagues and help build a positive team culture
What You Bring
- Minimum 3 years' experience in premium casual or fine dining
- Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Excellent communication and a genuine love of hospitality
- A positive attitude, polished appearance and professional manner
- A team player with strong attention to detail
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
