Job DescriptionAbout Wynn Al Marjan Island:
Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, water features, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.
About The PositionWynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Senior Steward - Kitchen Stewards to join the Kitchen Stewards team.
ResponsibilitiesThe primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Supervise stewarding operations, ensuring crockery, pots, glassware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and stored correctly.
- Monitor and support stewards in their daily duties while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ensure all kitchen areas, including floors, ceilings, ovens, and workstations, are kept clean and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Oversee the proper use, handling, storage, and control of cleaning chemicals and stewarding supplies.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling procedures in line with hygiene, environmental, and company requirements.
- Conduct daily briefings, provide on-the-job coaching, and correct operational deviations to maintain service excellence.
- Support the Stewarding Supervisor, assume leadership responsibilities when required, and ensure smooth shift operations.
- Foster positive teamwork and communication while adhering to company policies, grooming standards, and the Code of Conduct.
About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of stewarding experience in a 5-star hotel or integrated resort, including at least 1 year in a team leader role.
- Strong knowledge of stewarding operations, cleaning chemicals, health & safety, and hygiene standards.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting and cleaning of large equipment and high areas.
- Flexible to work shifts and business-driven schedules.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
