Role Description The Senior Sales Network Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Maadi. This role combines advanced network engineering expertise with pre-sales and post-sales activities, including designing network solutions, preparing technical proposals, and supporting the sales team during customer engagements. Day-to-day tasks include assessing client requirements, developing tailored network architectures, participating in solution demonstrations, and providing technical consultations to prospects and existing clients. The Senior Sales Network Engineer collaborates with delivery and support teams to ensure accurate implementation of proposed solutions and to resolve complex technical issues. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, partner technologies, and best practices to support Nile ICT’s portfolio and strengthen customer relationships.
Qualifications
- * Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design, including experience with LAN/WAN, IP networks, and complex multi-vendor environments.
- Candidates should possess solid Network Administration and Troubleshooting skills to manage, monitor, and diagnose issues in enterprise and service provider networks.
- Candidates should possess proven expertise in Network Security, including secure architecture design, implementation, auditing, and compliance with industry standards.
- Proven experience in pre-sales or technical sales engineering, including solution scoping, proposal development, and technical presentations to customers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build trust with clients.
- Relevant certifications (such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, or equivalent vendor certifications) are highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple opportunities and projects in parallel.
