1. Senior Reservoir Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Support technical evaluation of oil and gas assets, from rapid screenings to detailed Field Development Plan (FDP) studies.
- Independently assess reservoir performance, reserves/resources, production forecasts, and recovery potential.
- Review and challenge subsurface assumptions, reservoir models, and development strategies.
- Evaluate development scenarios, depletion strategies, well requirements, and recovery optimization opportunities.
- Identify key uncertainties, risks, and data gaps affecting technical and economic outcomes.
- Provide clear technical recommendations to support business and investment decisions.
Required Competencies
- 15+ years of Reservoir Engineering experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Degree in Petroleum/Reservoir Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong experience in reservoir engineering, production forecasting, and field development planning.
- Experience evaluating multiple assets and working with incomplete or variable-quality datasets.
- Strong technical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the Middle East and/or Asia; technical due diligence or asset evaluation experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in industry software such as Petrel and Eclipse/INTERSECT.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
2. Senior Petrophysicist
Key Responsibilities
- Support technical evaluation of oil and gas assets, from rapid screenings to detailed FDP studies.
- Independently review and quality check petrophysical interpretations, including logs, core, pressure, and fluid data.
- Assess reservoir properties such as lithology, porosity, saturation, permeability, net pay, and fluid contacts.
- Review and challenge petrophysical assumptions and assess their impact on volumetrics and reservoir models.
- Identify uncertainties, data gaps, and additional data requirements.
- Integrate petrophysical findings with geological and reservoir engineering evaluations.
- Identify potential applications of SLB formation evaluation technologies and services.
- Provide technical recommendations supporting development, technology, and investment decisions.
Required Competencies
- 15+ years of Petrophysics/Formation Evaluation experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience, Geology, or related discipline.
- Strong expertise in wireline/LWD interpretation, core integration, and reservoir characterization.
- Experience across multiple fields and reservoir types; carbonate reservoir experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to independently review and challenge existing interpretations.
- Experience in the Middle East and/or Asia; technical due diligence or asset evaluation experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Techlog or Petrel.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Professional certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
