Role Description The Senior Procurement Engineer (MEP) is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza, responsible for managing procurement activities for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials, equipment, and services. This role involves reviewing project specifications and drawings, preparing material requisitions, and identifying qualified vendors and subcontractors that meet technical and commercial requirements. The Senior Procurement Engineer evaluates quotations, negotiates prices and terms, prepares purchase orders and contracts, and coordinates with engineering, construction, and planning teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with project schedules. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring supplier performance, resolving delivery or quality issues, maintaining accurate procurement records, and contributing to cost optimization and value engineering efforts. The role also requires adherence to company policies, health and safety standards, and ethical procurement practices.
