Job Purpose:
Responsible for running the project management office for the IT and digitalization portfolio, governing how IT, ERP and industrial IoT projects are initiated, planned, tracked and closed, and giving management a reliable view of delivery, cost and benefit across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
1-Portfolio Governance
- Maintain the IT and digitalization project register with scope, schedule, budget, owner and status.
- Administer stage gate submissions, approvals and the supporting documentation.
- Assure the quality of project charters, business cases and plans before they go for approval.
2-Planning & Delivery Tracking
- Review project plans for realistic sequencing, dependencies and resource loading.
- Collect and validate progress updates and challenge reporting not supported by evidence.
- Track milestones, deliverables and cross-project dependencies across the portfolio.
3-Cost & Vendor Control
- Track project budgets, commitments, accruals and forecast at completion with Finance.
- Monitor vendor and implementation partner deliverables, invoicing and contractual milestones.
- Report capital and operating spend against the approved IT investment plan.
4-Risk, Issue & Change Management
- Maintain the consolidated portfolio risk and issue register and follow mitigation actions to closure.
- Administer change control for scope, schedule and budget changes and assess their impact.
- Escalate delivery risks with quantified impact and recovery options.
5-Reporting & Benefit Realization
- Produce portfolio dashboards and status reporting for IT management and steering committees.
- Define benefit measures and baselines at approval and track realization after go-live.
- Analyze portfolio-level delivery trends and their underlying causes.
6-Methodology, Tools & Capability
- Maintain the project management methodology, templates, standards and lessons-learned repository.
- Administer the project and portfolio management tooling and support project managers in using it.
- Coach project managers and technical leads on planning, estimation and reporting discipline.
7-Resource & Capacity Coordination
- Track resource demand and availability across applications, infrastructure and IIoT teams.
- Identify resource conflicts and support prioritization decisions.
- Maintain the pipeline of proposed initiatives and their readiness for approval.
Qualification & Education:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline; a project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is an advantage.
Years of Experience: 3–5 years of experience in project management office, IT project coordination or delivery assurance.
