We are hiring a Senior Odoo Developer (Full Stack) to design, develop, customize, and deploy scalable ERP solutions across Odoo v15 to v18+. You will translate business requirements into maintainable custom modules, responsive web components, secure integrations, and reliable data migration solutions. The role will collaborate closely with techno-functional consultants, QA engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions within sprint and development SLAs. You will also contribute to performance optimization, release management, system reliability, and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom Odoo modules, models, business logic, relational fields, validations, and computed fields using Python and the Odoo ORM.
- Build and maintain QWeb, XML, HTML, and CSS reports, while extending Odoo views, actions, scheduled jobs, dashboards, and Point of Sale components.
- Develop responsive frontend features and custom widgets using JavaScript, TypeScript, OWL 2.0, and Odoo web technologies.
- Build and secure REST, JSON-RPC, and XML-RPC integrations with third-party platforms, payment systems, e-commerce solutions, logistics providers, and e-invoicing systems.
- Develop ETL scripts and data import/export pipelines for ERP migrations, including financial, inventory, customer, and vendor data, with thorough reconciliation.
- Manage code branching, pull requests, peer reviews, CI/CD workflows, and deployments across Odoo.sh, Docker, and Ubuntu environments.
- Monitor PostgreSQL and Odoo performance, optimize queries and server configuration, and troubleshoot production incidents and application defects.
- Mentor junior developers, improve engineering documentation and repository practices, and maintain high standards for security, testing, code quality, and data integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; official Odoo certification is highly preferred.
- 3–4 years of hands-on Odoo development experience across Community and Enterprise editions, preferably covering Odoo v15–v18.
- Proven experience developing and deploying modules across Sales, Accounting, Inventory, Purchase, Manufacturing, and CRM.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and OWL 2.0, with strong knowledge of the Odoo ORM and security framework.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo.sh, Docker, Linux/Ubuntu, Git, and CI/CD deployment practices.
- Strong experience developing secure REST and RPC integrations, including authentication methods such as OAuth2, API keys, and HMAC.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization, indexing, EXPLAIN ANALYZE, and performance tuning.
- Strong analytical, communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills, with attention to financial calculations, multi-currency processing, taxation, data integrity, and software quality.
