Revit MEP models and the 2D deliverables extracted from them for firefighting, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build MEP Models from scratch in Revit MEP for Firefighting (Sprinklers, Hydrants, Standpipes, Pump Rooms, FM200), Plumbing/Drainage (Water Supply, Soil/Waste/Vent, Storm, Pumps), and HVAC (Ducting, Chilled Water, VRF, Ventilation, Plant Rooms).
- Model to the LOD required by the project (LOD 300 for design/coordination, LOD 350 for shop drawings, LOD 400 for fabrication where required).
- Create parametric, project-specific Revit families (Equipment, Fittings, Hangers, Supports, Sleeves, Access Panels) with correct connectors and parameters.
- Produce shop drawings, layouts, sections, and details for firefighting, plumbing/drainage, and HVAC systems.
- Prepare 2D/3D coordination drawings with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines.
- Detect and resolve clashes using BIM/Navisworks.
- Prepare as-built drawings and update them as site changes occur.
- Extract BOQs, material take-offs, and equipment schedules from the model using Revit schedules
- Maintain accurate parameter data (size, material, system, level, zone) for reliable quantitiesز
