Project C is looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join our design team and take ownership of interior design projects from concept development through detailed design and execution coordination.
The ideal candidate combines strong creative thinking with technical understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate and develop design concepts into well-resolved interiors.
Job Description
- Lead interior design projects from concept to detailed design.
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, and design presentations.
- Produce and review detailed drawings, layouts, elevations, and design documentation.
- Develop furniture, finishes, lighting, and material selections in line with the overall design direction.
- Coordinate with technical, site, and execution teams to ensure design intent is properly translated on site.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and develop design solutions accordingly.
- Review drawings and design details to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency.
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with project teams throughout the execution process.
- Manage design deliverables and ensure deadlines are met.
- Support and guide junior designers when needed.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in interior design, preferably within residential and/or commercial projects.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating completed interior design projects and a clear design approach.
- Strong understanding of interior materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and detailing.
- Excellent knowledge of design development and interior detailing.
- Ability to read, develop, and review technical drawings.
- Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max/Corona, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Revit.
- Strong visual presentation and design communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work closely with clients, designers, technical teams, and site teams.
- Residents of El Sheikh Zayed and 6th of October are preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Proven experience working on interior design projects from concept through execution.
- Strong creative and technical capabilities with a high attention to detail.
- A professional portfolio is required.
