Role Description The Senior Interior Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Cairo. The person in this role will lead interior design projects from concept to completion, including client meetings, needs assessment, and development of design concepts and mood boards. Daily responsibilities include space planning, preparing and reviewing architecture and construction drawings, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and coordinating with sister companies for woodwork, pools, and smart home solutions. The Senior Interior Designer will oversee design documentation, guide junior designers, ensure design quality, and collaborate closely with project managers and contractors to meet timelines, budgets, and client expectations. This role also involves site visits, progress reviews, and participation in design presentations to ensure that final outcomes align with client vision and Crystal Holding standards.
Qualifications
- * Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to create functional, aesthetic layouts for residential and commercial projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings, including preparing, reading, and coordinating technical drawings with engineering and site teams.
- Candidates should possess skills related to FF&E selection, including specifying furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials that align with project budgets and design concepts.
- Proficiency in relevant design and visualization software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D Max, or similar) and strong presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with several years of experience in senior or lead design roles.
- Experience managing full project cycles, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, and mentoring junior designers.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site in New Cairo on a full-time basis.
