About the Role
The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist will be responsible for supporting the company’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. The role will provide actionable financial insights to support business decisions, with a strong focus on sales, profitability, costs, and key FMCG business drivers.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and coordinate the annual budget, financial forecasts, and business plans.
Analyze actual performance against budget, forecast, and prior year and provide variance analysis.
Prepare monthly management reports and financial performance presentations.
Monitor and analyze sales, gross margin, operating expenses, and profitability.
Develop and track key financial and operational KPIs.
Support monthly and quarterly forecasting and identify potential risks and opportunities.
Analyze product, customer, channel, and category profitability.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations to understand business performance.
Support financial modeling and scenario analysis for business decisions.
Provide management with actionable insights and recommendations to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports.
Support strategic projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
4–6 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or management accounting.
Previous experience in the FMCG industry is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
Strong understanding of P&L, profitability, cost analysis, and financial KPIs.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and meet tight deadlines.
