About the role
The Senior Estimator will play a key role in the preconstruction and tendering of projects across the UAE, including major residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, and healthcare projects. You will lead estimating activities from cost planning through to final bid, including quantity take-offs, BOQs, pricing, subcontractor and supplier analysis, preliminaries and tender qualifications, whilst contributing to the continued growth of our estimating function.
This is a full-time position, based between our office in Dubai Festival City, and project sites across the UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Lead cost planning, estimates, and tender submissions from concept through to final bid.
- Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, and first-principles rate build-ups.
- Manage subcontractor and supplier enquiries, including quotation analysis and bid levelling.
- Review tender documents, assess contractual and commercial risks, and prepare tender qualifications.
- Prepare and price main contractor preliminaries.
- Support and mentor junior estimators
About you
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline; MRICS is preferred.
- Minimum 8 years’ estimating experience, including at least 5 years with a Tier 1 contractor in the UAE/GCC.
- Strong knowledge of POMI, NRM, FIDIC and UAE market rates.
- Established knowledge of local subcontractors and suppliers.
- Proficiency in CostX or equivalent estimating software, along with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability and attention to detail.
