The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect to lead the architecture and design of complex enterprise technology solutions across business applications, platforms, integrations, data, cloud, security, and digital capabilities.
The ideal candidate will translate business requirements and strategic objectives into scalable solution architectures, establish technology standards, evaluate solution options, guide engineering teams, and ensure that enterprise solutions are secure, interoperable, resilient, cost-effective, and aligned with long-term technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead architecture activities across complex transformation, modernization, integration, and digital initiatives.
- Develop solution architecture principles, standards, patterns, reference architectures, and reusable frameworks.
- Evaluate current-state technology environments and define appropriate target-state architectures.
- Conduct architecture assessments, gap analyses, technology evaluations, and modernization reviews.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, operational requirements, and technology challenges.
- Facilitate architecture workshops with business, product, engineering, security, data, infrastructure, and operations teams.
- Develop solution options and assess their functional, technical, operational, security, scalability, and financial implications.
- Prepare architecture decision documents and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Design end-to-end architectures spanning applications, APIs, integration, data, cloud, infrastructure, security, and user experiences.
- Define application architecture, integration architecture, data flows, interfaces, and technology dependencies.
- Design API-led, event-driven, service-oriented, microservices, and other appropriate integration architectures.
- Establish integration patterns for enterprise applications, third-party platforms, legacy systems, and cloud services.
- Define data architecture requirements and ensure appropriate data flows, ownership, quality, security, and governance.
- Collaborate with Data and Analytics teams to integrate enterprise data platforms, reporting systems, and analytical capabilities.
- Design cloud architectures across public, private, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments where applicable.
- Evaluate cloud migration, modernization, containerization, serverless, platform, and infrastructure options.
- Ensure solution architectures incorporate appropriate identity, access management, encryption, network security, application security, and data-protection controls.
- Work closely with Cybersecurity and Risk teams to address security architecture requirements and technology risks.
- Define non-functional requirements covering performance, availability, scalability, resilience, observability, recoverability, and maintainability.
- Develop architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, data-flow diagrams, integration models, sequence diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Establish technology selection criteria and evaluate platforms, products, vendors, and architectural alternatives.
- Conduct proof-of-concept activities to validate complex technical assumptions and architectural decisions.
- Assess technology vendors, system integrators, managed-service providers, and strategic technology partners.
- Support procurement activities by defining technical requirements, evaluation criteria, and architecture-related responses.
- Review vendor solution proposals and assess alignment with enterprise architecture principles and requirements.
- Lead architecture reviews and ensure proposed solutions meet defined technical and business standards.
- Establish architecture governance processes and participate in architecture review boards or equivalent governance forums.
- Maintain architecture repositories, technology inventories, decision records, standards, patterns, and reference materials.
- Identify technical debt, architectural risks, technology duplication, integration complexity, and opportunities for simplification.
- Develop modernization strategies for legacy applications and technology platforms.
- Define transition architectures and phased implementation approaches for complex transformation programs.
- Ensure new solutions integrate effectively with existing enterprise systems and technology capabilities.
- Work with Engineering teams to ensure architecture decisions are translated effectively into implementation designs.
- Provide technical guidance to software engineers, platform engineers, DevOps teams, infrastructure specialists, and technical leads.
- Review high-level technical designs, implementation approaches, and architecture deviations.
- Establish appropriate architecture guardrails while enabling delivery teams to make effective technical decisions.
- Support Agile, product-based, and DevOps delivery models through architecture planning and continuous technical collaboration.
- Participate in solution planning, backlog refinement, technical discovery, estimation, and release planning activities.
- Assess the impact of proposed technology changes on existing applications, processes, integrations, data, and infrastructure.
- Identify architectural dependencies, implementation risks, constraints, and critical path activities.
- Develop technology roadmaps covering application modernization, cloud adoption, integration, data, security, automation, and emerging technologies.

Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate should have strong experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, technology transformation, cloud architecture, systems integration, digital platforms, or complex enterprise technology environments, preferably within large-scale international organizations.
The candidate should demonstrate:
