Extensive UAE experience, with strong knowledge of local authority submissions, approvals, and regulations.

Design, develop, and review electrical systems for residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, and industrial projects.

Prepare and coordinate electrical drawings, layouts, and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.

Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.

Coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, contractors, and local authorities throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.

Ensure designs comply with UAE authority requirements, local electrical codes, and project requirements.

Support project planning, resource allocation, and timely delivery of engineering milestones.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage).

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE.

Proven experience in electrical design consultancy, including authority submissions and approvals in the UAE.

Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations and approval processes (e.g., DEWA, ADDC/TAQA, SEWA, FEWA/Etihad Water and Electricity, Civil Defence, and other relevant authorities).

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Microsoft Office. Experience with ETAP, Dialux Evo, or similar electrical design software is preferred.

Thorough understanding of UAE electrical regulations, load calculations, lighting design, power distribution, emergency power systems, fire alarm systems, ELV systems, and lightning protection systems.

Experience in designing and coordinating electrical systems for hotels and industrial facilities, including coordination with specialized building services.

Excellent project coordination, technical review, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers.

Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver quality work within project schedules.
