Role Description The Senior Electrical Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria, Egypt. This role involves leading the electrical design for residential and commercial real estate projects, including low- and medium-voltage distribution, lighting systems, and auxiliary power systems. The engineer will prepare detailed design drawings, load calculations, and technical specifications, while coordinating with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated designs. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and approving shop drawings, conducting site inspections, resolving technical issues, and ensuring compliance with local codes, international standards, and company guidelines. The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will also mentor junior engineers, support value engineering efforts, and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and standards.
Senior Electrical Design Engineerüìç Location: Alexandria ‚Äì Kafr Abdo | Technical Office (On-Site / Full Time)
Your Role
Design electrical power, lighting, and low-current systems for large-scale projects.
Prepare and review electrical design drawings, layouts, calculations, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, and MEP teams to ensure seamless project integration.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
Support value engineering initiatives and optimize design solutions.
What We're Looking For
‚úî Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
‚úî 4+ years of experience in Electrical Design.
‚úî Experience in residential compounds, mixed-use developments, or high-rise projects.
‚úî Strong knowledge of electrical networks and building services design.
‚úî Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit is a plus).
‚úî Excellent coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
