We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in aligning business strategy with technology solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business units to understand their processes, services, and roadmaps, ensuring seamless communication between IT and stakeholders. Your expertise will be instrumental in analyzing requirements, optimizing workflows, and driving strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders (clients, business users, subject matter experts) to understand and document their needs and expectations.
- Analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement and provide effective solutions.
- Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) that define business problems, opportunities, and solutions, outlining the scope and objectives of the project.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure accurate communication and understanding of requirements.
- Propose business solutions based on the gathered requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Assist in creating test cases and provide support during the validation process to ensure the solution meets business requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest best practices to enhance business efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis and process improvement, preferably in the retail banking industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid understanding of banking systems and processes to quickly assess business needs.
- Intermediate to advanced IT background to effectively collaborate with solution architects and development teams.
- Experience working in agile environments, utilizing Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills & Tools* Familiarity with core banking and CRM systems.
* Experience with asset management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
* Proficiency in diagramming and modeling tools such as Visio and Draw.io.
