Job description
To ensure the availability, performance, and maintenance of enterprise applications, with primary ownership of the Sales Force Automation (SFA) applications and their integration with the ERP system. The role administers configurations, monitors operations, coordinates upgrades, trains users, and provides expert support to users and stakeholders. It plays a key role in enhancing sales and business operations through digital solutions.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and maintain critical business applications to ensure high availability, integrity, and optimal performance.
- Act as System Administrator for Sales Force Automation applications (e.g., Sonic), covering user setup, configuration, version control, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate and execute application patching, upgrades, and configuration changes.
- Support the handheld devices and mobile device management tools used by field sales teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for integration issues between the main ERP system, GFSA, and the SFA applications, ensuring accurate data flow and synchronization.
- Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth integration, handover, and implementation of third-party applications.
- Act as the primary point of contact for application-related issues, resolving incidents within defined SLAs.
- Log, track, and close user issues through the ManageEngine ticketing system.
- Conduct root cause analysis of recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions.
- Report any infrastructure issues affecting the applications under supervision to the infrastructure team.
- Monitor application performance and generate regular health, utilization, and quality reports.
- Prepare operational and management reports as required, using SQL and reporting tools.
- Maintain application documentation, including configuration guides, SOPs, and recovery procedures.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution for supported applications.
- Collaborate with business users to gather and refine application requirements or enhancements.
- Participate in the implementation and rollout of new applications across branches, such as SFA rollouts and CRM integration with SAP.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-deployment support of new application functionalities.
- Train employees on supported applications as requested by IT management or user managers.
- Support internal audit, compliance, and cybersecurity teams with application-specific evidence and reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, cybersecurity protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Comply with the company's Code of Conduct and safety protocols.
- Any other duties assigned by the direct manager.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in application administration or support, preferably in a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, including upgrades and patching.
- Hands-on experience with ERP, CRM, or HRMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
- Hands-on experience administering Sales Force Automation applications (e.g., Sonic, Sales Buzz) and mobile device management tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server and API testing tools (e.g., Postman) for troubleshooting integrations.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Crystal Reports, or Report Builder.
- Knowledge of application monitoring tools, ticketing systems (e.g., ManageEngine), and service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver user training and support application rollouts.
- Vendor coordination and stakeholder management experience preferred.
