About the role
Enhance is hiring an Analytics Engineer in Dubai to turn our data into insights that improve personal training (PT) across our partner gyms.
Enhance powers personal training for gym operators around the world. Our B2B SaaS platform helps gym chains sell, schedule and manage PT, and we also run PT services directly inside our partners' clubs. That gives us a rare view of PT across many brands, clubs and trainers, and this role turns that view into better decisions for every partner.
You'll sit in the Data team and work closely with club managers, PT leads, Operations and Finance. You'll own the models and metrics behind personal training: how each club and trainer performs, how sessions are sold and used, and how pricing affects revenue and retention. If someone asks "which trainers have the highest rebooking rate, and is our 10-session pack priced right?", your models give the answer, and everyone gets the same answer.
What you'll do
- Build and own the data models. Design and maintain transformation models (dbt or similar) for PT packages, sessions booked, delivered and cancelled, trainer schedules, club capacity and revenue.
- Define our key metrics. Create one shared set of definitions for the core numbers we track, such as how busy trainers are, how many clients stay and renew, and how much revenue each club and trainer brings in.
- Shape pricing decisions. Analyse package price, size, discounts and trainer commission to understand margin per session and price sensitivity. Then recommend changes and help test them.
- Optimise operations. Show peak demand by club and time slot, idle trainer hours and capacity gaps, so we can schedule and staff better.
- Power self-serve reporting. Shape the tables behind dashboards so club managers and PT leads can answer their own questions without writing SQL.
- Keep data trustworthy. Add tests, freshness checks and documentation, and fix data issues before they reach a dashboard.
- Work across teams. Partner with data engineering on ingestion, and with Operations, Finance and club leadership on what they need next.
What you bring
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years in analytics engineering, BI engineering or data analytics, with real ownership of production data models.
- Advanced SQL, including window functions, performance tuning and writing code others can read.
- Hands-on dbt (or similar) experience: modular models, tests, documentation and version control with Git.
- Experience with a cloud warehouse such as BigQuery, Snowflake or Redshift.
- Good grasp of data modelling (dimensional / star schema) and of how to define metrics.
- Comfort with operational and commercial data: utilisation, capacity, cohorts, pricing and unit economics.
- Clear communication. You can explain a number and its caveats to club managers and trainers, not just analysts.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics or similar).
- Ability to analyse data and build dashboards in a range of visualisation tools, such as QuickSight, Power BI and Tableau.
- Experience with orchestration tools (for example Airflow or Dagster).
- Experience with advanced statistical methods, such as A/B testing and regression analysis.
- Pricing analysis experience, such as price elasticity, package design or commission modelling.
- Python for analysis or automation.
- Arabic is a plus but not required.
